Crown of Thorns
Again, I walk the streets,
And hatred spilling on my head.
Again, for sins of someone else,
I must be tortured and eventually be dead.
The scars on my hands and my legs
Already healed.
But, nails will open them again.
My fate is sealed.
The weight I have to carry by myself,
And help will never reach.
With all the suffery, that I receive,
I’m trying them to teach.
They’ve put upon my head a crown of thorns
To mark my fall.
Although it ripped the skin, that on my face,
I am not hurt at all.
The kingdom – come not waiting for me, no!
My soul will gain no peace,
And on my knees I will not fall.
Won’t scream: “What mockery is this?!”
I’m lying now. They take the nails
And hammer in my bone.
The crown of thorns is soothing me,
And all the pain is gone.
Alone they left me on the cross,
With murderers and thieves.
I hope my death, the second one,
Will bring to them no grief.
(Misfortune…) Along the demons came,
and whisper in my ear.
The torture knowing, what will be,
Eternally enslaving me with fear.
The lashes of their whips
Are turning me to dust.
I used to love, but memory of this is gone
In the forgotten past.
The demons left me now.
Alone, again, forever and for good.
Correcting the mistakes,
That universe was never understood.
Wars, unjust deaths and lies were made,
And on their lips my name.
Although they say: “All this is made for you”,
I’m just a pawn in this corrupted game.
The crown of thorns is just a sign,
That sins are must be paid.
Who’s guilty and who’s not?
In that I have no aid.
